Shelley and Stuart chose the gorgeous Oak Island at golden hour for their wedding day which was JUST the two of them, their officiant, their dog, a random person on the beach as a witness, and myself. I LOVE a wedding day like this. No pressure, no timeline, just excitement, and a whole lot of love. I had such a good day with these two getting some gorgeous golden photos and documenting such a special day!
I think the biggest perk of choosing a surrounding island to Wilmington (like Oak Island, Ocean Isle Beach, and Topsail Beach) is that you don’t have to fight as many people for privacy as you do at Wrightsville Beach. While Wrightsville is STUNNING, it will be overcrowded with people honestly though November most of the time. So I love getting to work at the surrounding beaches!
