Sometimes, you meet a client that as soon as you interact in person (typically at engagement photos), you just CLICK. This was MK for me. Her personality and mine were just so similar, I forgot I was doing a job and felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. As soon as she described her vision for her wedding day, I knew it was going to be perfect for me. Vivid colors, black and white checkered designs, disco balls, bold flowers. I WAS IN HEAVEN. Now add in a Colombian groom who also incorporated the most DELICIOUS food ever at a wedding – a whole Colombian buffet. I ate arepas and rice and beans and avocado and I truly felt like I was back in Colombia for the first time. And OF COURE MK added on the 35mm film package because – why wouldn’t she. We are the same. And she loves the quality of film, just like I do. These two had a sweet church ceremony, followed by their reception at Farmville Depot, which I had never been to before, but LOVED it! A big old warehouse building full of string lights and don’t forget the ice cream truck after dinner! MK & Roger – you were a JOY to work with, and I love your love. Thank you for having Erin and I be there as part of your special day! I wish we could do it again next week.
