Christel & Spencer got married earlier this month in Spencer’s parents backyard. It’s so funny, when you’re told that the wedding will be at someone’s home, you really never know what to expect. But when I showed up that afternoon and saw the giant white tent filled with chandeliers, glittering gold tablecloths, endless tall candles and neon uplighting, tall trees, and a black and white checkered dance floor, it REALLY blew me away! It was STUNNING! They had an absolutely incredible team of vendors, they had their closest family and friends with them, and they definitely danced the night away. I loooove a wedding like this, beautiful details and a TON of fun. Christel talked about living out her dream fairytale, and it really did come true! I love being part of incredible days like this one. CONGRATS you two!!!!

Hannah and Andrew had a very small, intimate, and CHILLLLL beach wedding out at Oak Island last month. It was so much fun, it was so calm and it was really cool watching all of their friends and family come together to help get everything ready for the wedding, I watched them help set up, and I watched everyone pitch in to make their dream day come true! Hannah was so sweet, she was running around all day in total shock and awe that she had just MARRIED the love of her life, and that this was all really happening! They had a low country boil dinner on the beach, followed by plenty of wine and dancing! I’m so lucky to work with clients like these. And I’m SO HAPPY for you both!!! I knew I was going to love working with Kylie and Abby the second that I met them when they were visiting Wilmington one weekend, and we met up to discuss wedding details! Their vibe is EXACTLY like mine, and they had such easy going personalities, I was so excited to get to be at their wedding day. And then, genuinely, it exceeded ALL of my expectations. Not only was it just a big casual hang out with a small group of their closest friends and family, but 40 of them were all staying together at a big beach house that night, so it was just one fun party. From getting ready mimosas to a giant dance party all night that even got ME on the dance floor with so many good throw back tunes, I can honestly say it was the BEST DAY EVER. Listening to the speeches from their parents and their friends was so heartwarming I can’t even describe it. These two are not only so loved by the people they surround themselves with, but their love for each other was POWERFUL! I mean, I felt it!!! These are the kind of people that I want to be around all the time, these are the kind of people I want to work with all the time, and this is the kind of love I LOVE to be around. Thank you Kylie and Abby for allowing me to be a part of your magical day, thank you for planning one hell of a party, and thank you for genuinely being yourselves all day long. It made my job SO EASY and I had an absolute blast! Highly recommend having a beach house wedding. It’s a pretty magical thing.

I don’t travel back to Ohio very often, but when I do, it’s for totally amazing weddings like this one. Miranda and Auggie got married on a gorgeous July day at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio. They had an incredible team of vendors (so many of which I used to work with regularly before I moved and it was so much fun to get to work with them again 5 years later!) that made the day come together beautifully. Miranda’s family has been friends with my family for YEARS, so of course I wanted to come back for her big day! It was extra fun for me because I was able to bring my little sister with me for the whole day, and got to sit with my parents at dinner!
