Handmade Toledo & The Blarney Event Center Wedding Photography

I almost always think my job is the best job in the world. I get to hang out with awesome couples on one of the happiest days of their lives. I love seeing all the hard work and the details that every couple puts into their wedding day, and how unique each wedding is. But I love my job even more when I have couples like Alison and Nick. Every detail of their day was SO AWESOME, I felt like they jumped into my brain and picked out everything that I love. And they were so fun and so calm and so laid back and so silly, it had me laughing all day long. One of my favorite parts is that Alison told me she couldn’t have planned her wedding without the help of Etsy, Target, and even Amazon. Proving that you don’t have to spend an absolute fortune to get absolutely stunning details.

These two had their ceremony at the local shop in downtown Toledo, Handmade Toledo. There were twinkle lights (my favorite) strung above the guests, as well as covering the entire backdrop of the ceremony. Which made every photo literally glow. The chairs were all mismatched and colorful, as well as a bunch of different patterned rugs running down the aisle. So eclectic and vintage. We got to do a first look in the neighborhood they live in, the Old West End. We also got to wander around the Collingwood Arts Center and on Adams Street for some great bridal party shots as well as portraits of Alison and Nick. The flowers were insanely pretty, the colors and different styles of all the bridesmaid dresses made me giddy, and just the ease and flow of the entire day went so smoothly. I think everyone’s wedding day should go just like this one. They followed the ceremony with a short ride in the Toledo Pedicabs to their reception at The Blarney Event Center, also located downtown.
