In 2020, I’ve gotten to photograph a lot of weddings that fall under the category of “Plan B” – it wasn’t what they had originally planned for, but when Covid hit, they decided to make a second plan and get married anyway. There were not 150+ guests, there was no elaborate church or venue, but I think Shana & Thomas’s wedding day turned out pretty perfectly. They hand made a beautiful arbor, renovated their house, and invited their immediate family and closest friends to come hang out in their backyard on a gorgeous sunny day and watch them say their I-do’s. It was amazing. I’m so glad I met these two, and got to document their special day. The people closest to them all showed up, masks and all, and celebrated together. Lots of tears and lots of love went around that day. And here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding!
