Raja and Dan got married the other weekend in Toledo, Ohio which gave me an excuse for a mini trip back to my hometown. It was so much fun to be able to be a part of their wedding day, because I grew up with this beautiful bride! I absolutely loved getting to be there, and see how much love surrounded them with their friends and family in attendance. They had their wedding at Inverness Club, a beautiful golf course, on the most perfect day. The sun was shining, the temperature was exactly what you could hope for, which is totally lucky considering it’s the beginning of fall in Ohio, and it really could’ve been a chilly 40 degrees. We even had a bunch of bees who really wanted to be a part of the ceremony and photos after. They weren’t technically invited, though.
They danced, they mingled, they got so many hugs and words of encouragement. One of my favorite moments was when Dan gave an impromptu speech and didn’t leave a whole lot of dry eyes in the house. I also loved the special touches that the two of them made for their decor. They’re both talented artists, and you can tell by their sweet details. Raja handmade every guest their own potted succulents, including making the pots themselves and engraving them with their initial and wedding date. Dan made these awesome coloring book pages that had their picture on it for the kids (okay, and the adults) to color. And so much more! I could go on forever, but you could just check out the photos instead. Congrats to these two sweet, caring, and amazing humans. I can’t wait to watch your love grow.
